It’s important to say the Bible Point just as it’s written. Each Station Leader will call on a different role to make sure all kids get to shine! In Imagination Station, you’ll call on the Kit Carrier. Each day at Shipwrecked VBS, kids choose important Crew roles for the day. ww Have Kit Carriers help distribute and collect supplies. This fun activity helps Crew members connect with each other in a unique way. The cool posters in the Imagination Station Poster Pack set the mood of a Shipwrecked adventure, and you’ll use the engaging TalkStarter Posters at the start of each day’s session. Move chairs and tables out of the way so children can work on the floor. Imagination Station is where kids explore, experiment, test, try…and play! Guide kids in your expectations, but also give them some freedom to see what their fun gizmos can do! ww Get your room ready to energize imaginations! Choose a room with enough space for the Crews in each rotation to do the fun activities. Kids each need their own gizmos, and in our field test, we discovered that Crew Leaders always wanted to try out the experiments too! ww Give clear, concise directions while demonstrating the experiments. Kids experiment with the gizmos each day, and then each child gets to take one home and use it to share the fun with friends and family. These fun gizmos help connect kids with the day’s Bible Point. The total number of Crews at VBS is divided into four larger groups that rotate through the stations together, so you can expect one-fourth of the Crews to report for each session of Imagination Station. At Shipwrecked VBS, kids join small mixed-age groups called Crews, with up to five kids plus a Crew Leader. Ww Find out how many Crews you’ll have at each rotation.
